Mick’s strength has always been an unwavering presence in our lives. It’s almost uncanny how his life has been intertwined with the very essence of ‘rock,’ as he was consistently perceived by everyone who knew him as a source of strength, comfort, a steadfast rock. Even now as we mourn Mick’s loss to ALS, his enduring power continues to inspire us, fueling our determination and courage to combat this relentless disease.

Witnessing Mick’s physical strength deteriorate so abruptly and rapidly, during the prime of his life has left his family and friends utterly shattered. From the moment he received his diagnosis, we made a solemn promise to Mick that we would never cease to end our fight until the day every family facing ALS can hear, “there is a cure!” Mike was, and is, our world.
